MARKETING AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR

Founded in 2016 in Melbourne, Permanent Vacation is an ongoing Project series that explores design as an expression of sentiment. Our garments are produced with an emphasis on quality and responsible businesses practices. Permanent Vacation is looking for a talented Marketing and Customer Experience Coordinator to join our small, female owned and operated team in our Abbotsford studio, working alongside the Creative Director and Operations Manager.

The position of Marketing and Customer Experience Coordinator will see you connecting with our growing customer-base, locally and internationally. You will play a pivotal role within the brand, in a newly created position which requires initiative and a willingness to work dynamically across several adjacent areas of the business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing:

– Research, plan, design and implement new marketing concepts

– Develop strategies and manage campaigns across our social media platforms

– Create social media content, including capturing bts footage on shoot days

– Conceptualise and design emails in Mailchimp

– Press management, such as coordinating loans with stylists and the creation of media kits

 

Customer Experience:

– Respond to customer enquiries, both via email and through social media

– Occasional assistance with eComm (Shopify) and wrapping orders

– Participate in Permanent Vacation popup events

 

ABOUT YOU 

Imaginative and creative, with demonstrated initiative and organisational skills

– Intimate knowledge of SEO and digital marketing, including Meta Business Suite

– Strong eye for detail and awareness of industry trends

– An understanding and embodiment of Permanent Vacation’s vision and values, including our ethics-driven approach to business

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Ability to work both independently and with our small collaborative team

– Proficiency across social media platforms

– Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

– Proficiency with Adobe suite / Graphic Design ability is a plus

– 2+ years of experience
